Question1
What are some skills needed to be a Game Artist?
The skills to be a Video Game Artist are creativity, imaginative ideas and social skills. Also they include a willingness to learn new things. Ferguson's Careers in Focus says, "Game artist and animators must be creative and able to translate their ideas into visual representations. Able to give and receive criticism and must have curiosity and willingness to learn"(Ferguson's, pg.18). They have to be creative and imaginative to create new things and have social skills to share thoughts to make ideas better. Doing this they learn new things from experienced artists and in doing so they can teach things to others.
In web searching they can find that the skills that this career needs. In 'iseek' it says "communication, reasoning and problem solving, organization, and creativity" (www.iseek.org/career detail?Id-8&oc100510). Over all it's saying that they should be able to work well with others and give, share, and receive judgment. Second, they should be able to see their mistakes and know how to fix those mistakes when made. Third, is that being organized will be a big help and responsibility because when they pursue this career they must meet all deadlines and make time for others to help them. Last, they need to be creative so they can see the bigger picture and come up with their own ideas to share with others around them.
